According a forcast by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) Hong Kong is anticipated to be the worldwide leader in terms of international tourism spending, raking in an estimated 52 billion USD by 2032. Not far behind, international cities Macau and Dubai are also expected to bring in more than 40 billion USD from international visitors. While these numbers may be impressive, domestic tourism to two of China's biggest cities, Shanghai and Beijing, dwarfs the international spend of any other city three-fold.
