When asked their opinion on the density of tourists in their area, local residents' opinions vary from country to country. In Spain, around a third of respondents to a survey by YouGov indicated that there were too many international tourists in their area. This sentiment was also highest in France and Italy, but to a lesser extent, at 18% and 16%, respectively. Nevertheless, this sentiment is outweighed by those who feel that the number of tourists is about right or even too few in all the surveyed countries - making up 60% of the responses in Spain and 75% in Sweden.
