Morocco: e-commerce market distribution by age

In 2021, the total number of e-commerce users in Morocco was approximately 13.6 million. According to estimates of the Statista Digital Market Outlook, the majority of the users belonged to the 25 to 34 years age group which made up approximately 32.3 percent of users. The smallest age group was 55 to 64 year-olds with a share of approximately 6.9 percent.

This definition encompasses purchases via desktop computers (including notebooks and laptops) as well as purchases via mobile devices (e.g., smartphones and tablets). The following are not included in the eCommerce market: digitally distributed services (see instead: eServices), digital media downloads or streams, digitally distributed goods in B2B markets, and the digital purchase or resale of used, defective, or repaired goods (reCommerce and C2C).
