01.07.2026 Statista Appoints Na'ama Sheba as Vice President Global Marketing to Reshape Its Global Marketing
Hamburg, Germany – Today, on July 1, 2026, Statista, one of the world's leading data-as-a-service (DaaS) companies, announces the appointment of Na'ama Sheba as Vice President Global Marketing. In this newly created role, she assumes global responsibility for Statista’s Marketing Organization and will lead the development and execution of the company’s evolving marketing strategy.
Strengthening and unifying global marketing under one roof
Sheba's appointment marks a strategic step in how Statista organizes and scales its marketing function. As VP Global Marketing, she will bring all marketing and communications activities together under a single, integrated organization for the first time, consolidating teams, channels and disciplines. Central to her role will be building and establishing this newly unified Marketing Organization while aligning it more closely with the full customer journey, ensuring all activities seamlessly connect with how clients experience Statista end to end.
This marketing approach is a direct response to Statista's next phase of evolution as a Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) company: built around a client-centric go-to-market and operating model in which Marketing, Sales and Customer Success form an integrated engine to jointly find the best solutions for clients.
Almost two decades of international marketing expertise
"We are very pleased to have Na’ama join us in this key role,” said Frederik Gronwald, Chief Customer Officer of Statista. “She brings a wealth of deep functional expertise, a strong hands-on mentality, and a clear understanding of how modern marketing needs to operate in a data-driven, global business. What sets her apart is her ability to connect strategy, execution, and commercial impact – exactly what we need as we further align Marketing with Sales and Customer Success. With this combination of strategic clarity and hands-on execution, Na’ama is the ideal leader to define and drive the next chapter of a more integrated, customer-centric marketing organization at Statista.”
Sheba brings nearly 20 years of marketing experience across all core disciplines and extensive expertise in the SaaS environment. She has held senior leadership roles in competitive, international markets scaling their go-to-market strategies: as Chief Marketing Officer at Mondu, a B2B payments company, as Vice President Marketing at Fraugster, an AI fraud prevention firm, and as Associate Director at Market Logic AG, a market intelligence platform. Previously, she spent several formative years at Procter & Gamble, where she developed her distinctive approach of bringing B2C thinking into B2B marketing. This unique blend of enterprise experience, regulatory know-how and customer-centric strategy positions her ideally to elevate Statista's marketing impact globally in line with business priorities.
"I am thrilled to join Statista as Vice President Global Marketing. I started my career as a data analyst and then spent nearly two decades in marketing. Statista is where those two worlds now come together,” said Na'ama Sheba. “What drew me in is the opportunity to turn marketing into a true growth engine by unlocking its full potential within a unified global organization that is directly connected to commercial outcomes. At the same time, marketing needs to evolve alongside a transformed product landscape, where trust and verifiability become critical as data is increasingly used in AI-driven environments. This is where Statista’s marketing and external communications play a key role by clearly communicating and highlighting the company’s values in this context – and that is what I am here to further define and develop."
Sheba joins the company's senior leadership team, reporting directly to Frederik Gronwald, Chief Customer Officer. She will be based in Berlin, Germany.
