Public assessment of country direction in Russia 2021, by age group

According to a survey published in February 2021, 49 percent of Russians believed their country was on the right path. The highest share of respondents holding that opinion was recorded among those aged 55 years and older. In the youngest surveyed aged group from 18 to 24 years, 48 percent believed Russia was going down the wrong path. During that period, the approval rating of the country's president Vladimir Putin stood at 64 percent.
