As of 2018, a sizable share of organizations in Belgium did not provide their employees with internal or external training or education aimed at improving or upskilling employees abilities. 46 percent of people surveyed indicated that their employer did not provide any form of training. Meanwhile, internal training appeared to be more common than external training, as less than 15 percent of employees were provided with external training in 2018.
