Monthly Amazon Prime Video app downloads in Belgium 2019-2020

Download figures for Amazon Prime Video on iOS or Android increased significantly in February and March 2020 in Belgium, due to the coronavirus. This according to figures provided by Airnow. Amazon and its Prime service were available in the Netherlands and Belgium in the past, in that consumers from these countries could subscribe to it. However, it was connected to the German website. Without domestic support, Dutch or French language and limited series, Prime or Amazon Alexa were not that popular. This changed somewhat as Amazon officially launched in both countries in March 2020.
