According to a survey carried out in the European Union in 2022, Portuguese citizens had the greatest faith in the MMR vaccine. Approximately 98 percent of respondents in Portugal believed both that the MMR vaccine is important for children to have, and the vaccine to be safe. Conversely, around 71 percent of respondents in Latvia felt the MMR vaccine was important for children.

MMR vaccine refers to the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine. Data shows the share of respondents in each country agreeing with the statements: 'The MMR vaccine is important for children to have' and 'The MMR vaccine is safe.'
* Total number for the EU as a whole. Approximately 1,000 respondents in each member state. Apart from 500 in both Luxembourg and Malta, and 250 in Cyprus.
