According to the survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in Singapore, approximately 63 percent of the respondents aged between 45 and 54 years old that they ordered food from food delivery apps less often during the COVID-19 outbreak because they wanted to cook more for themselves and their family. 28 percent of the respondents aged between 16 and 34 years old said the reason why they used food delivery apps less was because the delivery fee became higher during this time. The same survey showed that Singaporeans mainly ordered dinner on food delivery apps.
