The largest cinemas in anglophone West Africa are mostly located in Nigeria and Ghana. As of 2019, the biggest movie theaters were situated in the capital cities of each mentioned country, Abuja, and Accra, where the two locations of Silverbird Cinemas counted 1,489 and 1,224 seats, respectively. In fact, many of the cinemas with the highest number of seats belonged to the chain Silverbird Cinemas. Lastly, there was no movie theater with more than 500 seats in Liberia.
