According to a recent study, in the United Kingdom (UK) Generation Z was the consumer group that adjusted the most to digital payment methods, with nearly half of those surveyed stating they make payments using digital or mobile wallets. This share was at 32 percent for the Millennials, and 28 percent for those in the age group 40-54 years old (Gen X).

The survey sample was composed as follows:
• Gen Z (18-23 years old);
• Millennials (24-39 years old);
• Gen X (40-54 years old);
• Baby boomers (55-73 years old);
• Beyond boomers (74+ years old).
The margin of error for the sample size is +/- 1.6% at the 90% confidence level.
