Hospital in-patient discharges in Europe in 2019, by country
In 2019, the number of hospital in-patient discharges varied greatly from one European country to another. During that year, Bulgaria registered the highest in-patient discharge rate with over 34 thousand discharges per 100 thousand inhabitants. On the other hand, the Netherlands, Portugal, Cyprus, and Liechtenstein each registered less than nine thousand discharges per 100 thousand inhabitants.
