According to a survey on subscription video on demand (SvoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024 in Singapore, 66 percent of the respondents who subscribed to more than one SvoD streaming service did so because the shows they were interested in were spread across various providers. In comparison, nine percent of the consumers said they subscribed to multiple providers because it is a trend to subscribe to more than one SvoD service.
