Tech startups in Africa raised over 2.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, the second-highest venture capital secured since 2015. That year, nearly 186 million U.S. dollars were invested in African startups. Likewise, the number of startups receiving funding in the continent has strongly grown in recent years, dropping only in 2023.
