Change in time spent watching live TV globally 2021, by country
Between the fourth quarter of 2020 and the first quarter of 2021, viewership of live TV declined in countries worldwide, including Germany, Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. The decline in viewership was especially pronounced in the United States, where viewing time dropped nearly 15 percent. Australia was close behind, while both Germany and the UK showed a less than five percent decrease in live TV time spent.
