In a survey conducted in 2022, 51 percent of respondents in Southeast Asia stated that they would prefer a gas or diesel engine in their next vehicle. Comparatively, 17 percent of respondents in the region stated that they would prefer a hybrid engine in their next vehicle as of 2022.
