During a June 2022 survey, a majority of respondents from the United States had not heard of LIV Golf, while seven percent of respondents had a very unfavorable opinion of the golf tour. After facing accusations of sportswashing, LIV Golf merged with the PGA Tour in 2023 in a move that surprised much of the golfing world.
