YoY change of net sales from eating at restaurants in Japan 2022, by segment
In 2022, the net sales earned from customers dining at fast food restaurants and self-service cafes declined by 20 percent compared to 2019. However, due to strong performances in food delivery, the fast food restaurant and self-service cafe segment actually saw a slight increase in 2022 when compared to 2019. Other restaurant segments fared less well.
