Vivendi generated revenue of 6.06 billion euros from Canal+ Group in 2023, making this the company's leading business segment. The most lucrative segment was previously Universal Music Group, before Vivendi deconsolidated its 70 percent interest in UMG in September 2021.

Vivendi deconsolidated these segments respectively as from December 31, 2014, November 27, 2014, May 14, 2014, October 11, 2013, September 14, 2021. On July 28, 2022 Vivendi also announce plans to sell Editis, the financial information was adjusted accordingly as of December 31, 2022.
