EU: road freight mileage

In 2020, road freight mileage in the European Union was about 1.7 trillion metric ton kilometers. The data for 2005 and beyond are for activities carried out by European drivers within the EU territory. On January 31, 2020 the United Kingdom officially left the European Union, ending a partnership that stretched back almost fifty years.
