DIY confidence in Europe 2012 and 2014

This statistic presents the share of Europeans who feel confident carrying out DIY and home improvement tasks themselves, comparing results between the 2012 and 2014 surveys for five selected skills. Landscaping the garden showed the biggest change with confidence levels rising from 16 percent in 2012 to 40 percent in 2014. Respondents were also more confident with insulation in 2014. 18 percent said they would be confident installing insulation themselves compared to 10 percent in 2012.
