Fatal collisions include all reported motor vehicle crashes that resulted in at least one death, where death occurred within 30 days of the collision, except in Quebec before 2007; here, fatalities were counted only if they occurred within eight days. Adapted from Statistics Canada, Canadian Motor Vehicle Traffic Collision Statistics 2018, 1994 to 2018. This does not constitute an endorsement by Statistics Canada of this product.
