This survey examined the important factors affecting purchase decisions regarding fragrances among women in the United Kingdom (UK) by posing the question "When buying a fragrance, what is important to you?" The majority of women stated the smell as the leading factor, accumulating to a share of 90 percent. The second most important determinant was the availability of testers in shops, accounting for 32 percent.
