This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in the United States in February 2017, by age. U.S. adults that have at least one general practitioner (GP) that they see when they are ill, were asked if they feel that their GP is up-to-date with regards to new drug developments and pharmaceutical research. In total, 34 percent of respondents between the ages of 18 and 29 years of age and 35 percent of those 30 to 44 years of age indicated that they feel their GP is always up-to-date with regards to new drugs and research.
