Between 2012 and 2022, the turnover of the confectionery industry fluctuated highly. From 2013 to 2014, sales decreased by almost 100 millions euros, before increasing drastically in 2015. In 2016, confectionary sales in France reached their lowest point, 905 million euros.
Since 2017, French candy sales have annually exceeded the one billion euro threshold.
