Share of women affected by diabetes in Italy 2022, by education level and age
In 2022, about 6.3 percent of the Italian female population suffered from diabetes. This statistic shows how this figure varied considerably according to age and educational level of the individuals. According to the data, diabetes was mostly common among people aged 65 years old and over. In addition, it is possible to notice that, generally, diabetes was more widespread among individuals with a low level of education.
