Italy: females affected by diabetes 2017, by education level and age This statistic depicts the share of females affected by diabetes in Italy in 2017, by level of education and age group. According to data, diabetes was mostly common among females aged 65 years old and over. Generally, diabetes was mainly widespread among women with a low level of education. As matter of fact, the females having diabetes aged 65 years old and over, with a low level of education were 19 percent, while the ones of the same age but with a high level of education affected by it were 9 percent.
