Value of mobile phone production in India FY 2014-2021
The value of mobile phone manufacturing in India was estimated to amount to 2.2 trillion Indian rupees in fiscal years 2021. It was an increase from the previous year despite the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. In order to boost local manufacturing, various schemes and programs were launched by the government that helped the country to become the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones across the world.
