Costa Rica: number of votes in 2018 general presidential elections, by candidate

This statistic shows the number of votes cast during the general presidential elections held in Costa Rica on February 4, 2018. Fabricio Alvarado Muñoz, candidate of the National Restoration Party (Partido Restauración Nacional) received more than 505,200 votes, followed by Carlos Alvarado Quesada of the Citizens' Action Party (Partido Acción Ciudadana) with nearly 439,400 votes cast. A runoff election will be held on April 1st, 2018 to elect the new Costa Rican president among these two candidates.
