Pump price and tax of diesel per liter in Europe by country 2023

As of March 20, 2023, Sweden had the highest-priced automotive diesel, with a total diesel pump price of 1.74 British pounds per liter. Nearly 38.5 percent of the Swedish diesel pump price were taxes and duties. Finland followed, with a total diesel pump price of 1.73 British pounds per liter, of which over 45 percent were taxes and duties.
