* HPV-related cancers affect parts of the body that include the cervix, vagina, vulva, penis, anus, rectum, and oropharynx (back of the throat, including the base of the tongue and tonsils).
Note from the source: "Data are from population-based cancer registries participating in CDC's National Program of Cancer Registries (NPCR) and/or the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program for 2017 to 2021, covering 98% of the United States population. To determine the cancers most likely to be HPV-associated, the following additional criteria were applied to the data: All cancers were confirmed microscopically. Cervical cancers were limited by histology to carcinomas only. All other cancer sites were limited by histology to squamous cell carcinomas only"
