Meanwhile, Germany had historically performed well in the competition, winning the second most UEFA EURO titles behind Spain. The tournament's final took place in EURO 2024's largest stadium, namely the 70,000-capacity Olympiastadion in Berlin.

How much prize money did the winners of EURO 2024 receive?

The prize money for EURO 2024 was substantial, with the total prize fund amounting to 331 million euros. Financial rewards were distributed according to performance, and Spain received a total payout of 28.25 million euros after winning every one of their games. While there was plenty of money on offer, it paled in comparison to the FIFA World Cup – on top of previous rewards, Argentina received 42 million U.S. dollars, around 38.6 million euros, for defeating France in the 2022 World Cup final.
