Brazil: soybean oil industrial consumption 2010-2019

In 2019, the Brazilian industrial sector consumed more than 3.5 million metric tons of domestic soybean oil. This represents an increase of nearly 74 percent in comparison to 2010, when consumption amounted to approximately two million tons. Soybean oil is the main raw material used for biodiesel production in Brazil.
