Facebook fire arms trade content deletion per quarter 2023

In the third quarter of 2023, Facebook took action on 766 thousand pieces of content depicting the trade of firearms, down from 877 thousand pieces of this content in the second quarter of 2023. Facebook has invested in automatic detection to delete content that attempts the sale, exchange, gifting, or transfer of firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, or explosives between private individuals. Additionally, over five million pieces of drug-related content was removed from the platform.
