Number of athletes in the Italian Volleyball Federation 2017-2018, by gender
Both in 2017 and 2018, the Italian Volleyball Federation recorded that among its members the majority of athletes were women. Although the number of federation's women athletes slightly decreased over the period considered, still in 2018 the study recorded 248,557 women and 73,792 men. Also the amount of men athletes, who were part of the Italian Volleyball Federation, experienced a slight decrease from 2017 to 2018.
