Texting via mobile phones seemed to be more popular among older children in Sweden in 2018. 39 percent of the youngest representatives, between 9 and 12 years were sending messages, such as SMS, iMessage or KiK, whereas the corresponding figure for teenagers between 17 and 18 years old was 78 percent.
