According to a survey on consumer behavior in Indonesia in 2019, the majority of consumers in the cities of Medan and Jakarta preferred foreign-made audio and video electronics. Across the all cities, consumers overwhelmingly preferred local products, except for audio and video electronics, household appliances, and digital devices.
