In 2019, Cyprus had the youngest mean age of male drug overdose deaths in Europe at 30 years, while Romania had the lowest mean age of deaths for women at only 29.1 years old. On the other hand, Denmark had the oldest average age for female drug-related deaths at over 56.7 years, and Portugal had the oldest average age for male drug deaths at 45.3 years.
