In 2017, Hungary had the youngest mean age of male drug overdose deaths in Europe at 31.2 years, while Luxembourg had the lowest mean age of deaths for women at only 25 years old. On the other hand, France had the oldest average age for female drug-related deaths at over 64 years, and Denmark had the oldest average age for male drug deaths at 45.6.
