Installed power capacity in Lakshadweep India FY 2005-2022
At the end of fiscal year 2022, the installed power capacity across Lakshadweep islands in India was around three megawatts. In fiscal year 2012, there were about 41 diesel generating sets and 12 solar photovoltaic power plants in this union territory. The electricity department introduced new methods of power generation to protect the coral islands and its environment.
