Auto insurance purchase channels in the U.S. 2017-2022

The share of private passenger auto insurance sold directly in the United States fell by 1.7 percent between 2017 and 2022. In 2022, direct sales accounted for 67.4 percent of all net premiums written, down from 69.1 percent five years earlier.
