TikTok: content removal requests from government bodies H2 2022, by country
Between July and December 2022, Bangladesh government bodies submitted 486 content removal requests to TikTok, while authorities in Russia submitted almost 335 removal requests. In total, courts submitted 2,296 removal requests to the video-sharing platform. During the measured period, 79 countries submitted content and account removal requests to TikTok.
