Sales volume of passenger cars in Czechia 2008-2019

In the period of consideration, sales volume of passenger cars in Czechia saw a net growth, despite fluctuations. Figures reached their peak in 2017, when 271.6 thousand passenger cars were sold in the Czech market.
In 2019, 249.9 thousand passenger cars were sold, a decrease of roughly eight percent in comparison with the peak year. Škoda sales volume held 34 percent of the passenger car market share as of 2019.
