Capacity additions to medium photovoltaic rooftop systems in France Q1 2017-Q1 2024

The installation of medium photovoltaic rooftop systems with power capacity between nine and 100 kilowatts drastically increased in France between 2017 and 2022. In the first quarter of 2024, over 100 megawatts of medium PV roof-mounted installations were connected to the grid in France. By comparison, the quarterly capacity additions to residential PV installations in self-consumption at the same time of the year amounted to 186 megawatts.
