Expected global passenger cruise capacity in operation per day 2020
The cruise industry is one of the worst-hit by the coronavirus pandemic. As of April 5, 2020, about three-quarters of the global cruise ship capacity was expected to resume operations by May 11. According to cruise lines' return plans, the global cruise capacity, which stands at around half a million passengers, will be restored in full by July 15, 2020.
