Mortgage rates per country in Europe per quarter 2012-2020

Average mortgage interest rates decreased in nearly every country in Europe, and only increased in two out of 15 analyzed countries in 2019. A trend since several years, interest rates in most countries reached all time low levels, making it favorable for consumers to buy a house. Overall, the weighted interest rate in all 15 countries combined was said to be around 2.10 percent in early 2020.
