According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2022, approximately 31 percent of female and 30 percent of male respondents in Singapore who did not use mobile dating apps stated that they did not do so as they thought that such apps were too superficial. The same survey found that around 71 percent of Singaporean respondents did not use mobile dating apps.
