Motorized two-wheelers were mostly used for leisure rides in France in 2020. This is particularly observable for heavy motorcycles, which 81 percent of French motorists use for leisure rides, compared to 57 percent of motorcyclists using their light motorcycles and 56 percent of them using a moped for that purpose. Commuting was the second most popular reason to use a motorized two-wheeler in the country.
