According to a study published in October 2021, the share of online art platforms worldwide that were thinking about integrating blockchain technology into their business increased in 2021 over the previous two years. As of 2021, roughly 41 percent of surveyed online marketplaces were considering adopting blockchain technology, while 10 percent of the sample was already using it.
