TikTok: fake engagement removed 2021-2022

During the fourth quarter of 2022, the social video platform TikTok removed over 1.46 billion fake followers on the platform due to fake accounts. This represents an increase of approximately 92 percent from the previous quarter when the number of fake followers removed was approximately 760 million. Additionally, the platform removed around 367 million fake likes during the last measured quarter.
