Global Twitter user growth 2022, by region
As of April 2022, it was estimated that Twitter users based in Central and Eastern Europe will decline by seven percent by the end of 2022 compared to the previous year. In 2022, the number of users based in North America will decrease by 0.5 percent year over year. Furthermore, Western European user numbers are forecasted to rise by 3.8 percent, and the Middle East and Africa are to see an increase in Twitter users of 3.2 percent compared to 2021.
