Discord: funding value 2018-2022, by investment round
In March 2022, gaming-focused communication platform Discord secured 10.9 million U.S. dollars in funding from its secondary market round. Funded in 2015, Discord is a voice-over-IP social platform where users can create their own communities (called 'Servers') or join existing ones. The platform was initially designed with the needs of video gamers in mind, and it provides the possibility to interact with text, voice, and video, as well as a live-streaming feature. As of March 2022, Discord has secured approximately 995 million U.S. dollars in funding across 16 rounds.
